About the Event

Turnaround Tuesday, prepares, trains, and connects ‘returning,’ unemployed, and underemployed citizens to living wage jobs and to build a vibrant public life.  This organization provides job readiness services using in-person and technology (phone, computer), connects community members to resources as well as works to stay in touch with the community and employment partners.  Turnaround Tuesday has put over 1800 (and counting) in Baltimore.

During this session, BUILD representatives from the Turnaround Tuesday program will provide training for the program and outline ways PLAN and DCPOWER can bring this much-needed service to our community members.  This training is being hosted by John Wesley African Methodist Episcopal Church, a member of DCPOWER. The Industrial Area Foundation(IAF) affiliates of DCPOWER, BUILD, and PLAN are excited to bring this opportunity to the community.
